Haiti

Well we made it! Internet has been ify. The amout of buidings that have collapsed it unbelievable. There are millions of people living in tent cities, including Jim and I! The rainy seasons is here and it poured buckets for over 2 hours. We were hustleing to move stuff away from the walls. As the season gets worse what will happen to all of these people? It is super hot and very humid so we spend a lot of time sweating! We visitied medical clinics and the schools yesterday and will do that again today. Keep us in your prayers!

Off to Haiti!

We are packed and ready for Haiti. We have over 4500 items that were donated to help the Hatian People. We are excited to arrive. Thank you all for the help, love, support, and on going prayers while we are there.

Donated Items for Haiti

We had a list of items needed for Haiti and wow everyone really came through! We have so far collected 4,441 items. We are excited to share these items and are thankful for everyone who helped to touch the live of the Haitian people.

Rummage sale went great thank you to everyone involved. We still have goodies left so look forward to another sale in the future.

Rummage Sale

The Rummage sale went wonderfully! Thank you everyone that was involved! We are all tired though. What fun to go through all the goodies and to try all of the baked goods. Yummy! Leaving for Sterling Friday morning for the American Baptist Women's conference.

Rummage Sale Tomorrow

We are having a rummage sale as a fundraiser for Haiti tomorrow at the church. 405 West Ninth St. From 8 am to 4 pm. Everyone has been so great with donating goodies, items, and their time. We have been setting up all week! Thank you Kathleen, Josie, Lois, laverne, Delbert, Marion, Dan, Elizabeth, CC, Ashley, Roger, and Jim for all the long hours of set up time! See you tomorrow!

Ready For Haiti!

Jim and I are heading to Haiti June 15 to interview for a position. We are taking supplies for the team already on ground. The response to gathering supplies has been incredible. We are very thankful to everyone for all of the help!
